Sunshine State Dance Challenge

Sunshine State Dance Challenge (SSDC), is the up and coming premier dance event held in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  We are an IHDA andWSDCsanctioned event and points are awarded for both not-for-profit organizations.

We offer the finest first class event, from competitions to 3 full days of workshops and all night social dancing. We have 4 ballrooms: A Grand Ballroom designated for competitions, shows and social dancing.  And 3 other ballrooms for workshops and additional all night social dancing throughout the weekend.

We offer competitions in Pro-Am and Amateurs. Professionals please call in for specifications.  Friday night, IHDA will be hosting their famous Hustle “Meet & Greet” party.  Everyone is invited so don’t miss out. And to top it off, a fabulous Saturday Night Show!

You will spend more time enjoying the beautiful resort because our competitions run on time and our iPad-based scoring system for judging offers immediate results.   By public demand, we will have our Sunday Lunch Luau.  It is FREE for weekend pass holders.
